My frocks, cakes and cocktails is a visit to the V&A museum to visit the ball gown exhibition (frocks) followed by copious amounts of tea and cake (cakes) at a lovely cafe and then a cocktail bar to end what shall be a fabulous day (cocktails).

All cake lovers are welcome

That leaves me a bit stuck, because I don't want to use up s'pensive petrol money going into town if I haven't got anywhere else to go.

I think I'll annoy the dog and pop the poor beasty into the shower, then I can have super fluffy hound that doesn't pong of fox/badger/cow/sheep poo or whatever else it likes to roll in.

Took fluffy dog for a run around the village before all the cars appear, everything sniffed, all corners watered, happy hound.
Now sitting on a sunny drive with dog drinking tea, wondering where all the cats are hiding.

Dog needs a kennel really, especially as I plan on cutting down the favoured hidey snooze bush.
