Procrastinating as usual. This question popped into my head while writing my essay

What's another word for thesaurus

Anybody have a clue?

Post your silly questions here, and maybe someone will have a silly answer.

;)

What is it with cats and doors ?
I'm opening it up so you can come in and eat your cat fud, it is not a portal to some cat hell of no cushions and cold radiators,
likewise I didn't just open it so I can stand in a draught to watch you sit there on the doorstep washing your knickers.
Get your furry bum inside dammit ! :x

what does 'Google' mean? is it the compound words of Go and Ogle or does it have its own definition?

I think you're right. Go and Ogle all the information that is at your finger tips, or maybe go and ogle the images of what ever you like.

It's a play on words

Googol is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros, and so Google represents the massive amount of information that Google indexes

A sensible answer. Did you know it or did you Google it?

Can atheists get insurance for acts of God?

I'd heard of the word googolplex because it gets mentioned in astronomy programmes and I'd vaguely remembered how it related to Google.

I nearly always check my facts before posting though as I loathe looking ignorant
I spent three hours researching one post in a debate once.

I think Act of God is just a legal cover-all for unpredictable stuff ?

I wonder if this recession is going to get worse and they are just putting a brave face on it :|

What's the point of making your bed if you're just going to sleep in it? This is no reflection on me, I always make my bed up in the morning

^^just incase someone randomly decides to pop into your room during the day, as they do
i never bother making mine, just think it's a waste of time really

does anyone else live in an area where the residents prefer to go out in their pj's rather than actual clothes :?:

i'd admit i have been known to go as far as down the street in mine but wouldn't have the nerve to go shopping in them :|

PMSL Rosefern,

You are not on your own. I have been known to go round Tesco's in my nightshirt lol. Normally in the wee hours I have to add, not in the middle of the day as a rule. ;)

And I often go to my m8's in the nxt street in my slippers, my son hates it lol

Nic x

And what's the point of washing towels? I'm always clean when I use a towel so the towel doesn't get dirty.
