I woke up thinking it was early, but it wasn't. Just glad it's not my Saturday to work. Fun evening planned tonight :)

Reading this:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2012/apr/20/staceyann-chin-straight-women-thrill-me?intcmp=122

I'm not entirely sure why one would bother? Maybe its because I'm boring like that.

Despite venturing out today and buying something nice for myself, 8) I've only just recovered from the awesome night before.

Ouch, that's sounds nasty. Is there anything that can be done? Medically speaking.

^starlight:
ummm they've tried various options, I'm going to get some splints for my legs that they use on children with cerebral palsy next week, have to wear them for 3 months to reposition my joints + stretch my calf and hopefully take the pressure off of them so they don't further collapse. if that fails they said they'd try an operation which would involve cutting a chunk of my muscle out to relieve the pressure on my ankles :L

sat in bed playing on my new laptop :)

Oo poor you, that sounds a bit gruesome :o
But pretty amazing that such things are possible.

Nao.
Thinking of leaving my feet to medical science, they have been frozen for years and must therefore still be in pristine condition.
Such a miserable day today, all wet and windy. I left my door shut last night because I needed sleep but the two boy cats have been scratching at it since silly'o'clock.
I was working yesterday so OH is picking me up later, so I'm just contemplating just how many layers of clothes I can wear without looking like a bag lady. I hope she doesn't want to go anywhere else today as I feel a bit off somehow, me waking up so early is a clue something is wrong for sure.

Have a small parcel of lamb and some leeks, have to think of something interesting to do with that, I nabbed a bit last night for a curry.

Why can't cats make tea and toast, they would be so much more useful. Furry hot water bottles are appreciated, but so would a cup of tea.
I should trade dog for a chicken, fresh eggs would be nice.

^aha it is a bit but to be honest I don't care about the pain as much anymore, I just want to be back where I belong on the athletics track competing, it's been too long! but yeah i agree, amazing the way they can treat some things nowadays, the operation is a fairly new one apparently that they're trialling, and it hasn't yet been used in UK to treat my symptoms, so that could be interesting! although i'm hoping that the splints fix it and it doesn't go as far as an op!

relaxing in my room feeling a bit under the weather, with a nice bottle of cider (not helping my under the weather feeling :P)
