Have you ever watched a TV show about lesbians and been disappointed? Utterly disappointed. Perhaps you've thought, "I could do better than that". Faye Hughes has. So frustrated was the 28-year old theatre director by the lack of quality television featuring lesbians that she wrote her own series, "Far Out".

A pilot of the London-based drama about nine lesbian and bisexual women is currently being shown online with a special screening happening later this month. Here she tells LoveGirls all about the online drama she wrote, directed and stars in.

If someone asked me what I thought was sexy, my response wouldn't ever be a farm girl wearing nothing but a pair of pink wellies. Firstly, wellies aren't sexy, fact! Secondly, you can't wear muddy wellies to be bed and thirdly, the image I'd be conjuring would be of a cow dung smelling, sheep slaughtering shotputter who hasn't washed her hair for six weeks.

But dear readers, I shall now eat all of those words. It's official, wellies are hot!

A girl's got to start somewhere hasn't she!? I'm sure we've all been in situations where we're left wondering what exactly the side-show contortionist we've hastily bedded is trying to achieve as she vaults across the room via the chandelier (what can I say, the décor at my house is a little pretentious!). Let's face it; it doesn't always quite go to plan. I for one have ended up in many an unladylike position, some of which have ended painfully; not a heartbroken sobbing wreck, but more like concertinaed into the splits and wedged between a wall and a bed. Believe me; nobody looks pretty from that angle! So, here are a few basics as a refresher for us all and as some handy (no pun intended) hints and tips for you lovely ladies who haven't given it a bash yet... So to speak.

We agonised for days over which movies should make the grade, okay maybe not days, but we spent a good few hours watching chicks make out. After the massive success of the Liverpool Street Dance, T-Mobile had their work cut out for them. On thursday evening, Twenty thousand people gathered in Trafalgar Square after T-Mobile posted a teaser on their YouTube Channel asking for people to come along and sing. 11 Million YouTube hits would be hard to beat, but just after Saturday's Britains Got Talent, the new T-Mobile advert aired.

Was it worth suffering Britains got Talent for? No! T-Mobile had managed to get Pink to join in with the singalong of 'Hey Jude', but blink and you would have missed her. She appeared once, for about a second, slightly obscured by "some bloke". But the reason I wanted to see the advert was Pinks posting on her Twitter page:

In the beginning ...

She was a hardcore Catholic girl who went to church every week and looked like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. Determined not to let our religious differences, her 9pm curfew or her parents disapproving glares get in the way of true love we started dating.

I'm sure there are girls out there worth waking up for at 8am on a Sunday morning, but I quickly realised she wasn't one of them. Whilst she was at Church praying for forgiveness for her sins, namely me, I was recovering from an alcohol fueled Saturday night out without her.

Ladies, ladies, ladies... I'm sure you have all been in this situation at one point or another in you life and for me it has happened once too often! Now we all know flirting comes like breathing to a lot of ladies out there, and I am indeed one of those ladies.

We've all had one of those quiet spells when, for a week or two, you have no one special to entertain you. So instead of welcoming the break and accepting that you can't be entertained 24/7 by the beautiful ladies of the world you find one that, lets just say, isn't your type and let her have a shot.

When I started in Television I never realised that I would end up looking for gorgeous inspirational women to take part in a life changing experience on Channel 4. After my years of toil on boring shows, I have now landed the job of my dreams and have the opportunity to go out the stunning Cook Islands and take part in Shipwrecked; a show which takes a group of young people to a deserted island and shows them how to live as if shipwrecked.

It is now my unenviable (LOL) task to cast lovely gay women to be on the show as this year we are really keen to find people outside the normal ‘shipwrecked’ cast.
