This year will see the revival of the Miss Gay UK competition. Organiser Leah Shafik and her partner Nina, will be holding regional heats throughout the year before a final to decide the overall winner in Novemeber 2007.

On Friday 6th April the first heat of Miss GayUK took place in the jam packed pub The Fox in Birmingham. The heat winner, Giverny Porter (centre), was selected by four judges. Heat runners up were Jenny Smith in 2nd place (left) and Sarah Newey in 3rd (right).
