WHAT CAN I SAY? SUGAR RUSH IS AWESOME, Sugar rush helped me to except the fact that I am GAY
and theres no reason to be ashamed of myself because of it. the relationship between Kim and
Sugar greatly related to my first love and I thank you for helping me find my true self and not
be ashamed of it.

i absolutely loved this show i couldnt go a week without missing it and i even bought it on dvd
after and watched it all over again. channel 4 sucks anyway, although they'll have slots when
Big Brother finishes which is a load of rubbish anyway. This show has been the best show ive
ever seen where other girls can relate to it, i was confused myself at the time and wal-ah here
comes sugar rush to save the day lol

I loved Sugar Rush and would love to see another series. Channel 4 are talking rubbish saying
they don't have a slot for it. They seem to have plenty of slots for Big Brother and E4 has
plenty of slots for Friends repeats.
The BBC should pick it up and put it on BBC3

I think that is complete and utter crap that channel 4 just didn't have a slot for it, of all
the boring meaningless stupid programmes they have on channel 4 they finally had a good thing
going with sugar rush it was witty and alot of people realated to it or helped people to
understand what its like for us. This is the second time this has happened as they cancelled
Queer as Folk Uk after its second series oh well what can ya do!! BRING BACK SUGAR RUSH!!!! lol

i am highly disappointed 2 find out that sugar rush was canclled that was well out of order and
uncalled 4 people that run c4 are biggits and dont understand how important it is for shows
like sugar rush 2 be put on air for me it helps young people understand wat they are feeling
and how they could deal with it and also that this world that we all live in isnt still stuck
in the dark ages and people do understand every one has a right 2 be happy THE SHOW WAS ACE AND

well, I am a boy... I mean I am not gay or something, but Sugar Rush made think of many
situations and the day by day of a girl who starts to live and found herself inside a world
that she even know she could deal with, but at the same time... she knew what she wanted about
life. And I think this kind show ´d never, I say never ends... a very good writer and director.
in my opinion THE SHOW COULD NEVER ENDS! SUGAR RUSH RULES!!!!!!

on FACEBOOK to raise awareness to C4 abouts our demand for a 3rd series and *hopefully* they

I am big fan of skins. But also a huge fan of sugar rush. I think the most shoking thing about
channel fours decision is that they kept it hush hush as if not to upset anyone.
I think
it's a real shame they cut a story line short. but obviously they don't really care about the
viewers and it's the ratings that matter.
I know girls who are gay , straight and bi
who all love this programme. it's a shame because it's the only programme on british tv that i
could watch as a 16 year old bisexual girl and think to myself im not completley barmy and
bonkers.
Thankyou to the creators because although you may not be carrying on for
another season . You have changed my life, in the smallest of ways , every episode was a
learning curve.

Ok, I had no idea the show had finished. I'm no longer a teenager, I'm 25 and to be honest,
despite the age difference I felt completely identified with Kim, with my fears and my doubts.
This show was one of the things that helped me not only come out to my familiy and friends but
also to come out to myself, to realize what I was and I wanted. It's really disapointing that
they cut it..bad news... Lesbian argentinian wolrd, it's a bad bad day today for us...they've
taken away one of our only quality sensitive and real lesbian series...we are allowed to
cry...Sugar Rush was for us our own lives...

friend like sugar, and i had a crush on her and my other best friend, who was a boy. And they
both fucked me round for laughs behind my back. So when sugar rush came out it was like me and
kim were one person because i wasn'tsure wether i was bisexual or straight, and me and my
crushes on mates didn't help.
Kim coming out to her friends and family was an
incentive to me, and i also got over the crushes and realised i deserved better than them, so i
moved on to get a girlfriend, and finally came out to everryone that i was lesbian.
i
just hope younger people who get to teenage years watch this, and if they're in the same
position then this dvd will helpp:)

It's truly unfortunate that Sugar Rush has not been renewed for a third season. The show came
out later for us in Canada and it was the only show that really resonated with me. Straight or
gay, Sugar Rush was an amazing dramatic spectacle, period.

Hi, I appreciate this is a girlies site, but while looking for a decent reason why Sugar Rush
had vanished from my telly I came across this link and thought I'd add my voice, hope you dont
mind. I gotta say how really boned off I am that ch4 have binned it, its obviously hugley
popular and pulls in massive viewing figures so I gotta ask WHY U TOOLS ?? especially when we
have't to put up with rubbish like BB Hijacked I mean come on honestly, stop sitting around
thinking how clever and original you are by re-inventing the same old tat and give us what we
want !!. As for saying ch4 didnt have a slot, they could always dump one of Jamie Olivers self
righteous rants about how un-healthy we all are. Anyway enough moaning think Sugar Rush is a
fantastic show, only started watching it because a friends daughter wanted to watch it but
didnt want to watch it in her own home (she hasnt come out yet to mum n dad) found myself
completely wrapped up in it, well enjoyable the girls really do play it well all credit to
them, they had me going thro the ups and downs with them. Fantasticlly written, up to date
whats the chances of Jonny Capps pitching it to another channel, cant see it being a problem
selling the idea....once again sorry for intruding.....

I found out today from my friend that there will be no 3rd season of sugar rush, who sent me a
link to this page.
I cannot believe this is true, it is total madness!!
I was really
looking forward to season 3 and finding out if kim and sugar would get together, and i am
extremely disappointed with channel 4s decision, especially as there is plenty of evidence that
this was a much loved show by all.
As a confused and frustrated teenager myself, who also
had a crush on a close friend at school, I could definitely relate to the show. There are very
few programmes on TV these days involving homosexuality as the main focus, and I think there
should be more TV shows like sugar rush aired, to increase awareness of homosexuality, and to
help stop prejudices against homosexuals. Being a Lesbian/or gay is supposedly accepted in
society now, but it is not often aired, which makes it hard for people to be educated on
matter. Channel 4 are definitely not helping this!
Please bring back sugar rush! I truly
love this show, I barely watch any television because good programmes like this are
rare.
Thank you to all the sugar rush team for seasons one and two, they really have helped
me, and have also been very enjoyable. Lets hope channel 4 has second thoughts =) xxxxxxxxxx

I've just spotted this news - so annoyed with Channel 4 who persist in putting crap out every
night - this was the only drama that was relevant, non-chavy, non-formulaic - the best series
C4 have done in years.
I'm a gay guy, I've enjoyed every second of it - it's so positive
to see lesbian chracters on TV, and portrayed in a good way too. So much better done than
Queer as Folk with its nasty sterityped characters.

I am very happy to here that the cast and the producers are interested in making more serises
of sugar rush. I think it is not only a great programme but it also helps to take away the
ignorences, that causes many prejudices around gay relationships. It is something you can
relate to if you are gay or struggling to come out. It challanges lots of issues in a positive
way rather then preaching to people. I feel that the tv is dominated by rubish like big brother
and x factor. people need somethng thought provoking to watch, so channal 4 can we have more
freedom of choice rather than all many programmes that are clones of eachover. I thing Kim
should meet up with Beth again and they should end up together in serise 3:)

this show has done so much to help me accept myself for who i am. i know it's only a television
show, but the first time i saw it i realised that just because i was gay didn't mean i was a
freak and learned to not be ashamed of myself. i dearly love this show, and would be overjoyed
if it was brought back for a third season.

Sugar Rush is fantastic. It's not just for lesbian and bi girls it's for everyone and pulling a
show like that to make way for yet more pants shows like BB. At least after watching sugarush
you don't get the urge to stick pins in your eyes.... unlike BB. It's no wonder Channel 4 can't
keep up with other channels if they're stupid enough to cancel a show that is hugely
successful. With the series ending with Sugar moving into Kim and Saints flat there is so much
more there! It can't just end like that. They could get loads more out of it and Olivia and
Lenora obviously want to carry it on.... Channel 4... whats ur boggle???

M frm Malaysia and so addicted to SUGAR RUSH i watch it more than 10 x, never got time of it..
Its a waste of talents n ideas for not Pursuing further. With all the talented casts n story
lines to carry on further, its really dissapointing and a heartbreaking moment to know its
being Cancelled. SR has all d supports even in ASIA. Go SUGAR RUSH!!

The best things to come out of Channel 4 were the legendery series, 'Friends', the fantastic
medical series, 'E.R.' and of course, 'SUGAR RUSH!' I am not a lesbian just a regular wife and
mother of 3 who thouroughly enjoyed watching this series which is far better than the book
might I add. Even my Hubby would sit and watch Sugar Rush with me! The acting is excellent and
each episode was brilliant and highly amusing leaving you hungry for more! So come on Channel 4
Big Brother has certainly run its course, it hasn't been the same since the days of Kate and
Johnny, you're just never going to be able to top that series, so give us some sugar and keep
us all sweet!!!

season. This show has been a highly entertaining journey full of youthful energy, confusion,
angst, love, and friendship. The growth and development of Kim and Sugar (two strong female
protagonists) is something that young women everywhere can identify with, regardless of
sexuality. It is a shame that it will not continue but I wish the cast all the best in their
future work.

After years of being a big fan of C4 - Spaced, Big Train, Green Wing, Friends, etc - I am a
little late finding out about the cancellation and am shocked. They didn't have a spot for it?
It's not just C4 on its own battling for viewers - it has E4 and More4 now, both of which
channels would still suit the type of show Sugar Rush is - the last time I looked More4 needed
beefing out completely, showing Sunday afternoon telly on a Wednesday evening for lack of
anything else to broadcast. What a load of rubbish. I hope it's a decision they'll regret and
possibly reconsider in future. Did Shine approach any other broadcaster? Beeb isn't quite as
old-fashioned as it used to be - or there's channel 5, and aside from showing House once a week
it's just mindless drivel, they must have space for such a great show. Is this it, then? Why
can't they show Sugar Rush AFTER Big Brother? Ay, my brain, I can't understand this. In terms
of viewers and general ratings of the channel overall, this was a bad move. I would have
thought SR would only be an asset, and that programmes should be re-jigged to create space.

Im Dissapointed that when something good comes along its then taken away. I mean young kids /
teens / older / nearly everyone can relate to parts of each story. Especially the younger kids
who might not have anyone to turn to. I mean we have that many shows that straight people can
realte to so why not keep this one show going that lesbians can relate to. It helped so many
people I know and its dissapointing that they left it as though there would be a season 3. If
you say its run its course, then your imagination is poor. There are so many stories to tell.
let the public tell you their stories... im sure you can do more than 2 seasons from it. But
hey who are we to speak right? its all about how much money they make, otherwise they would
listen to the support they have from real people and follow what the people want. kind of like
an encore... if you dont get an encore then you don get more. Sugar rush is getting more than
an encore yet why arent we getting more? Love the show and would love to see more seasons made.

"Family guy" a cartoon i love was cancelled a long time ago, but because of brilliant dvd
sales, another network took over the contract and they've made more new series! I guess we can
take this into light. BUY SUGAR RUSH it's brilliant! and if they've got decent sales figures
behind them, the show might get picked up before the gaw-dropping actors in the show get
spooped up into another movie/series deal... I absolutely LOVE sugar rush! it's quick, bubbly,
dramatic, hard hitting... such a refreshing way for lesbians to be portrayed on a tv series
(not to mention the amazingly disfunctional family that makes any other soap look like fairy
tale!). lively fun people coming out and facing issues that soooo many people can relate to.
this show can't die. I really hope that one day they get to conclude the kim/sugar story

I don't get it at ALL, why Channel 4 have done this. I don't know the full story of it, but
apparantly the channel decided to leave it at that because they need the money for some other
project? BAH.
This show means more to me than anything else does, and the story in it
portrays a massive thing that happens in teenage life in one form or another.
The
characters touched my heart a hell of a lot more than any other character in any other teenage
drama or film.
ITS SO AWESOME :O
And we all know, that the ending of it was TOTALLY not
the end of it.. THE LOOKKK! The look between Kim and Saint just screams for another
episode.
Olivia and Lenora, you both kick ass, And thanks for bringing what you did to the
teenagers that watched the show, You did it WAY better than anyone else could have
done.

I am just gutted cant believe it. Surely they can stop playing the same episodes of friends for
ten weeks so that the show can have a propa ending. I am straight an i love the show i think
it's brilliant an it gives people an open mind about the different sexualities out there. I

it was one of the best programmes i have ever seen. great storyline, so heartwarming and

Channel 4 were lucky to have the opportunity to take on Sugar Rush, and have not made a good
decision to ditch it! The story had so many places to go. You were too good for Channel 4 in
the first place Sugar Rush! Put it on DVD! I'll buy it!

I am absolutly gutted. How can channel 4 cancel a show that is so different from the other
mundane shit that floods tvs nowadays? Lets all sit there and become mindless robots watching
Big Brother (I think not!) or watch something that was entertaining, different, and help to
educate people in a subject that is still filled with a certain amount of taboo in todays
society.

when they carry on running crap tv shows like Big Brother?
I myself could relate to Sugar
Rush and I instantly became hooked. Thanks to this programme I finally had the courage to come

I cannot believe that Channel 4 would be so ridiculously stupid as to deprive the nation of a
third series of this fantastic show. It was so brilliantly written and acted and it was such a
breath of fresh air to see that tv had moved on to putting out some much needed humourous, but
also seriousl at times, views on lesbian teen life in the uk. I remember watching the first
series and thinking "where WAS this programme when I was a teen?!". I am sad that Channel 4 do
not see the importance of such a programme as this and the huge following that it has gathered
over the last couple of years. I guess there will be a lot of gutted girls (and guys too!) out
there ey! SHAME ON YOU CHANNEL 4!!!

Channel 4 need to realise how important a show like Sugar Rush is, not only for young lesbians
and bi women, but also to show that programmes about lesbiansim do not have to be gratuitous,
pornographic, or made purely for ratings or the titillation of heterosexual men.
Sugar Rush
is groundbreaking in that it's a prime time series that anyone can watch- it doesn't exclude
non-gays by its content, nor does it offend or sensationalise.
TV bosses need to wake up
and realise that gay characters on tv simply cannot be restricted to bit parts, or 'token' gay
characters on 'straight' shows. We need tv shows that have ongoing storylines for gay
characters that portray everyday life, not a quick headline grabbing story.

Look at this mess, I'm COMPLETLEY confused at why Channel 4 have axed this show.
The
Actresses in it touched the hearts of every single person watching it (Whatever their
sexuality) It was constantly at an emotional high and definitely made me sit on the edge of my
seat wondering what was going to happen next.
I'm sure every other fan of the series is as
confused as i am, Because i dont know about you, but have you seen the last episode of series 2
?!?! Its BEGGING for another series.
There are plenty of story lines that need to be
finished, I mean, Does Sugar move in? If she does what happens with Saint and Kims
relationship? Does Stella have another child?
All of these AND more are loose ends that
need to be tied! This series is something that i feel MORE than strongly about, i loved it how
it started off with Kim wanting Sugar, And in the end, It turns out Sugar and Saint both Want
her.
If there isn't going to be another series, Then I want to say The biggest thankyou you
can ever imagine to everyone who created this show, It's taught me a lot about myself in funny
ways, And Olivia Hallinan and Sarah Jane Potts, Can i just say, You can't half act :)

i'm appalled but not surprised. sadly, lesbian content doesn't pull the same audience (thus
advertising) as some soap opera or b-series with some heartthrob and a leading, überfemme
curvaceous lead.
a sad state of affairs, because this series was a little gem, truly well
produced, edited, nice acting and fun storyline.
i truly hope they find another channel to
take it on - even if it's the americans who have to do it (remember Queer as Folk?)

It's sad that this fantastic show has been cancelled for some social pornography noone needs,
especially when Sugar Rush can really help young people come to terms with their (sexual)
identity and show them that its important to be true to oneself - no matter what anybody else
thinks.
Even though my teenage years are past I can relate very well to some of the
characters' problems and the heartwarming storyline can't leave anyone cold.
Another
argument for the quality of the show is, that it's so universal that anybody in the world can
relate to it and its reputation is already widespread (after all even I have heard about it in
my little country ;))
Shame on you Channel 4, come to senses and bring Sugar Rush
back!

You know, they just have to bring Sugar Rush back, even if only to finish the story properly.
Perhaps, if there is'nt the possibility of a full third series, than maybe there could be a
one-hour special that could give us a proper ending. After all, there are plenty of ideas for a
new show, and the cast and crew are really up for it. Somehow, though, I don't think we're
going to get this, just more GARBAGE like BB. In fact, I would call upon all the Rushies out
there to boycott the next series of BB and let C4 know exactly why you are doing so. Sugar Rush

I'm gutted.
It was a programme that defined what time is like now.
I watche the first
series while i was in my last year at school and it had EVERYTHING i was experiencing.
It
just clicked into place.
The relationship between Kim and Sugar was just like a
relationship between me and a close friend.
The second series was just as good if not
better with the added charater Saint =]
I hope that they make another series even if its
only for dvd release because im sure people will duy it just to see the conclution to a
fantasic series!

Im a 18 year old female who before watching the show had no confidence in coming out to anyone
and was so scared to ask this girl out who is 26 i have fancied her for ages and just didnt
have the confidence to ask her out then i started watching sugar rush it gave me the confidence
to finally ask her out and when she said yes i was over the moon im still with her today and i
am thankful that the show gave me the confidence the second season i watched every episode with
my girlfriend it was so funny i loved every minute of it i beg you C4 please reconsider
bringing it back you helped me find my soulmate and i want you to help other lesbians out there

I am shocked and highly dissappointed. I am an American who adores this show and wait
fearlessly for the series to continue. Now that it will no longer continue I am quite saddened.
This show is so one of a kind. Not just are the actresses/actors incredible with each scene,
the script is phenonminal and the characters are addictive. I will be forever devostated with
this horrible decision.

I'm no female but Sugar Rush is a brilliant show for a lot of reasons that's already mentioned
before.
For Channel 4 to cancel the show is not only a blow to all young women who are
going through a difficult transistion but also a blow for those who really appreciated the
actual story & the manner it was told. The last time a story was made this good was As If and I
still feel gutted that it never carried on.
I made this post just to show my support
for the show and to stand against Channel 4's silly conclusion of the girls' journey.

When this show first came on I was 15 and in the process of being harassed at school for being
a lesbian. I didn't know that that's what I was but after watching Sugar Rush it gave me the
confidence to crack on to the girl who had been cracking on to me in class making me seriously
embarassed. The great thing about Sugar Rush was it's scheduling slot as well which meant that
I always got to watch it as my parents would've gone to bed. They'd be like "what are you
watching so late", and I'd reply "oh , just some educational programme". And I was telling
them no word of a lie because Sugar Rush was and is truly scintillating and educational
viewing. Now if only I'd caught the last episode, I missed a week then turned on the following
week and Sugar Rush was nowhere to be found. You what I'm saying. Give me one of those boxsets
so I can find closure. And bring the show back already!

I can't believe they are cancelling this show!!! I just started watching it and I am in love. I
thought maybe for some reason people in the UK were crazy and the show wasn't getting good
ratings. But that's obviously wrong. This show is not only entertaining, but I can honestly
relate to it and it helps me quite a bit. It would be a mistake to not continue with a third

i think its crazy they've decided this.who watches big brother apart from sad old and middle
aged women with nothing better to do,and who are they to take away the only realistic lesbian
programme. its not just the fact that it helps us young ladys decide what we are and who we are
but the story lines in the show are hilarious like kims mum and dad being wife swappers,pure
genious and when kims mum spiking her dads drink to get him in the mood!!! still makes me
laugh.

I think that channel 4 's decision to not comission Sugar Rush for a 3rd series is short
sighted and completely unfair to all the viewers who loved watching it. It was one of the only
great programmmes with many issues for young lesbians and gay people covered in its unique way.
I think we should all get onto Channel 4 and urge them to reconsider.

Hi everyone! I'm a 19yo bi girl from north Manchester and I can't tell you how much I loved
Sugar Rush, and how disappointed I am that it won't be returning. It's tragic that C4 will no
doubt find money and scheduling time for their usual rubbish like BB, but for a double-award
winning programme with a guaranteed fan base and a cast that's up for it big style? No money or
time for that! How stupid is that! Also, what about their supposed committment to diversity?
How does cancelling the only LGB programme in their schedule fit in with this? Can anyone
answer this at all? Shine and C4, PLEASE PLEASE reconsider!!!

channel 4 was first broadcasted as the freedom channel anything that the other channels were
restricted to put on channel 4 put it on so why are channel four now going against everything
the channel first stood for and which has brought them there most viewers that they have ever
had! why does it feel the need to drop the show? Are they scared of being know as a gay

It seem to me more and more that all the
good shows get cancelled and al the mind numbing rubish get left to go on for
years...
Why is there no UK TV chanel targeting the gay and Lesibain commitee, There
is so little out there it was nice to know that there was a least one uk channel out there, it
seems like just another good reason to stop watching the basic tv chanel and turn over to sky,
at least they have one show we're all happy to watch...

Too many shows with strong female leads are being
cancelled!
I feel it was a poor decision on Channel 4's behalf because this show was so
importatnt to mant teenage girls - straight, bi and lesbian alike! It is the first mainstream
drama which has really gone into depths with the trials of being gay in the modern
world.
Although being straight I still appriciate the values of the show - it was infact
the reason one of my friends came out, she saw it was "ok" to be gay and has deveoped so much
as a person. This show changed my friends life, and undoubtedly the lives of others as
well!
So, If channel 4 want to cancel a great show, they do so at their own loss! At least
we got 2 great seasons of the show....great acting, directing, writing....etc!

polace...i doubt the bbc would have ventured to do so!

I cannot believe that have cancelled sugar rush. I have only recently come out to my family and
friends about being a lesbian and when i watched sugar rush it was so incredible because i
could understand and feel the emotions on the show. It made it easier for me to be able to come
to terms with what sexuality i was and i thought it was a good education for those who were
still questioning themselves and who are bursting to tell their families!

I am incredibly OUTRAGED at Channel 4's decision, and they have now lost an avid viewer. The
drama heightened to acting talent - and talent it is in the truest sense - of three fantastic
actresses. Shame on you C4.

Thsi is Outrageous! There are very few shows of this nature that even make it past a pilot
episode, let alone, WIN AN EMMY! By cancelling this show, cannel 4 not only goes back on their
word (posted on the Sugar Rush Website "Look out for a new series next year") but is also
denying young lesbian and bi viewers a television show they can relate to. Art is supposed to
reflect issues, and this piece of media dealt with main issues Head On! It took risks that no
other show was willing to take, and brought its audience on the roller-coaster ride along with
its characters. When you get a series that puts the viewer right in the scene, you DO NOT
CANCEL IT! End of discussion, no excuses! Especially if it bring ratings that extensive to your
station!!!

WHAT? i had no idea it was cancelled untill i found a comment on myspace! channel 4 is bloody
aufull at the moment and this explains it all! sugar rush really helped me understnd a few more
points, and possibillitys about being bisexual. thankyou sugar rush! as for channel 4, you

I love sugar rush,
how could they cancel it, The rattings were good, so why cancel it? That show has helped me so
much when I told my best friend I was gay and that I was in love with her, turns out she was in
love with me too. And now we live together and we couldnt be happier. The show also helped me
so much giving me the confidence to tell my family! Im so sad that there wont be anymore
because apart from that and The L word what else have young women got? Thank u for letting me

This is such a shame.
I was really really looking forward to another series of Sugar Rush,
as it is quite simply some of the best stuff on TV these days.

Honestly. Why cancel such a BRILLIANT
SHOW?
Sugar Rush was one of the few decent shows left on channel 4; to cancel it is
pure RETARDEDNESS!
To keep such IDIOTIC programs on there instead, such as Big
Brother, is like, the WORST decision ever made! Big brother is just a mindless program which
follows the lives of a dozen or so chavs, so desperate to be famous they'd have sex under a
table. Whereas sugar rush, is a heart felt drama which affects more people and is more
realistic than the ''Reality'' Show that is BB. Hell, even Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is
more realistic than Big Brother.
Sugar Rush affected me a lot more than I wanted to
believe, but either way it affected me. Obviously I soon became hooked on the show! Every week
I looked forward to being entertained by some of Britain’s best young actress’s strut their
stuff on the award winning program that is Sugar Rush. To hear that it was being cancelled
sucked. So I have now decided to go on a Channel 4 Strike =] I shan’t be watching anything on
channel 4, or even E4. Not that this will be too difficult, avoiding a channel which chooses
shows like BB over ones like Sugar Rush, should be as easy as…well something that’s really
easy.

...what befuddles me so much...is how such a BRILLIANT show is being axed due to "scheduling"??
We all know that a move like this by Channel 4 will annoy a substantial amount of viewers. Its
insane to think that Channel 4 have dedicated over 20 hours of broadcasting time in total to
both series one and two, but refuse to make a final series to round all that off! BRING IT
BACK!!!!

I was shocked and somewhat devastated when I heard that Channel 4 weren't going to commission
another series of Sugar Rush. It feels like the end of an era. Sugar Rush is one of the few
series that actually tackle real life situations effectively. It has truly reached out to
people, young and old, gay, straight or bi. Not only is it a series that people within the same
situation can relate to, but it deals with everyday issues head on. It even manages to bring
out the funny side of things.
I honestly believe Sugar Rush is one of the best
british dramas around. It also casts some of the most talented young actors/actresses Britain
has. I'm pretty sure a large majority of young people out there feel just as gutted as I do.
Sugar Rush is raw, different and new. Big Brother is repetitive, monotonous and
despite being a reality show, rather fake. Big Brother is a dying trend, where as Sugar, Kim
and Saint's story had only just begun. Surely one more series could allow the masses of fans to
finally know how the story ends?
Im really sorry if i've waffled on! But I just can't
believe it. I've been living abroad since the end of the second series and I was looking
forward to a third series to welcome me back home.
Please reconsider channel 4!!!

Sugar Rush is the sex to be rather frank.. i truely believe that it encapulates what it really
is like to be a Lesbian/Bisexual girl in todays world. Kim is a fantastic charecter play by a
fantastic actress, i and surely many others can relate to Kim and all the hudles she has
faced.
Sugar Rush is extremely well written, much like beautiful poetry and i believe
that it can easily compared with shakespeare for its pure excellentness!
Many of
Sugar Rushes charecters can be directly related to my own life such as the "beautiful, flirty
best friend" (SUGAR) and the "geeky, rather scary little brother" (MATT)and i am sure can be
said for many other people!
Since the Sugar Rush series i have been able to come out
as Bisexual to my friends and family this wasnt at all easy but Sugar Rush enabled me to take
such as big step.
I really think that Channel 4 are making a HUGE mistake by
cancelling Sugar Rush! i sincerly hope that whatever they choose to air instead of it has
rubbish ratings (i've heard that is BIG BROTHER)
Regardless of Channel 4 i believe
that Sugar Rush should still continue! Prehaps get their show aired on another channel if that
is possible or as previosuly stated continue the series on DVD! without a doubt i will be the
FIRST person in the que if the series did go straight to DVD!

OMG!!! NO WAY!!!! Sugar Rush was the best tv program ever! Me and my bf have the nicknames Kim
and Sugar haha.
OMG channel 4 you suck. You put on crap like secret millionaire and
other random crap. It used to be great when you put Sugar Rush on after Big Brother. Best
Thursday nights ever. Well you are the ones losing out.
Hope the BBC or Sky One pick
