I am hopeless at the whole'gaydare'thing,my ex is brilliant.She is also never single for

hmm...the confidence thing. I try that and depending on how intoxicated I am, it either goes
extremely well or I come across as a complete dork but end up getting of with them anyway!

Fortunatly ive never had to pull girls but i reckon when i do have to, i'm going to be a

Great article!

But can I add something! about the eye contact thing, because im
really confident i just go over to girls and dance with them, and im always the girl dirty
dancing on the stage with random people BUT as soon as a girl i like makes eye contact, i
immediatly look away.

and thats probably the reason why i never pull is because people
think im not interested, so while the eye contact may work with others, sometimes even the most
confident girls cant do it back, so if a girl looks away or doesnt even smile watch them from
the corner of your eye, if they are watching you but when you look they look away quickly and
they wont make eye contact for longer than a second, but keep looking over at you, for me thats
my way of showing i like someone.

Well in my experiance the best thing you can have going for you is reputation.
Based on
reputation alone I spent 5 or 6 years using the same method at every party.
Show
up.
Drink a bottle of vodka.
Let myself get taken advantage of.
Also leads to many
memorable threesomes and orgies...as much as one can remember.
Well it worked for me
anyway.

Good read, I think you covered all you could there.

I always find eye contact to be
diffiucult and sometimes misleading, mostly because I'm pissed and I can't see in a club lol,
but arh well.. I use the dancing technique myself, works everytime, but my friends say its
because i'm a good dancer.

i wouldnt say im a shy person bassically i usually go out on the scene, if theres a nice girl
go up to her,let her see you check her out and ask her if shes single if shes not, walk away,
stilling checking her out and i ask her if she wants me tonight and only tonight if not....

too be honest, i love girls but i find it hard too talk to them, even tho on one drunken night
i went out in chelmsford and my ex was dancing with a guy (didnt know he was gay but could see
she was). i went up to laura and said who do u want, me or him? and hence my longest
realationship!! being drunk works for me.
where as last week i just went to a gay pub and
saw this girl who was so stunning, and we started chatting in the loos, like you do!!
and
hen we ended up hooking up for the night, (drunk again)!!
wish i could chat up a girl
without being shy, but this guide has helped!!

Hi Jessica!! I saw you and your friends out in Notts conducting your research the weekend of
Pride... I'm relatively new to the scene and compared to you, quite young. I've never read any
of the gay magazines and only just found this website. I never tried to push my sexuality on
anyone or try and look 'dykish' like you.. I'm not saying you do that but it's obvious you are
an out and proud dyke and you don't have a problem with showing people in your appearance.. I
do respect all females and males whatever their choices but I do find certain individuals try
and control and intimidate younger (and sometimes older) more introverted characters with their
behaviour towards them. Maybe a line about not overstepping the mark is required in your
article as not to appear like too much of a herd of dykes out for their next helping of fresh
meat.. xx

This was some amusing writing Jessica but as for the actual facts of 'pulling chicks in bars'
some people have it and some people don't... I'm happy to say, I never have a problem with
pulling... and age, look or location has nothing to do with it... nor does sleazy chat up
lines! Good start but as Max said, a little more depth (or even more research!) required for
your next installment on this subject :p

lol its funny this article has cum up, i went out last saturday, spotted a girl to me liking at
the beginning of the night. i could go over or make eye contact threw the herds of ppl!! but
fortunatly we went to a club an i sin her pass me in the toilet (i was not staring!! lol) i did
say anything i was biding my time, so there i am at the bar havin a drink an the was a clear
path way towards her an me, an she jus happend to look wen i did, i gave her a smile an a quick
look up an down an she returned it *woops* an then not wanting to seen infatuated i got my
gaggle of drunken freinds to keep lookin at her on the snide an i was suprised to hear she was
getting her mates to do the same! lol so i ordered another drink an over she came with her mate
standing at the bar, i decided nopt to say anythin, but as she walked behind me i got a pinch
on the ass!! wen she returned because she sed "i forgot to rder my drink" we got talkin i gave
her my number an thats that, non stop texts now.....very fun! woop
